Vision Statement

Eastside Social Club is a family oriented group of clean and sober people whose primary goal is to have fun and share the clean and sober lifestyle.  The only requirement for membership is that you live and/or support a clean and sober lifestyle.  There are no gender, race or recovery program requirements for membership.

 

Purpose:  Eastside Social Club is a social club.  The membership body offers fellowship in recovery from drug and or alcohol abuse. Eastside Social Club is not a recovery program or a religion in itself.  Eastside Social Club does not endorse one recovery program, religion or religious denomination as superior to another.  However the influence of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and a Higher Power is strong within Eastside Social Club.

We offer a non-profit meeting place for those who seek fellowship of others who are striving to better themselves morally, mentally and physically.  Members are encouraged to take whatever steps necessary for them to live a clean, sober and legal lifestyle. 

Eastside Social Club is to be self-supporting via events hosted, dues paid and sales of Eastside Social Club merchandise to its membership.  We may accept unsolicited contributions as long as there are no requirements or conditions imposed upon the Eastside Social Club.

East Side Social Club Announce's our Opening:
The need for a place that Eastern Ct's Sober community could call it's own has finally happened. Our Club office has opened it's doors in hopes that more and more sober activities will start to take place. The current location is a start to prove that East Side Socail Club means business. Our goal is to have a facility in the future that we will be able to have open to the sober community for dance's, social events and many other Sober oriented activities.

 

Having the office open allows us a space that will be there for planning events as a club and holding meetings for the community. Now that we have a shingle to call our own space we hope to grow the clubs membership to a point where we can either purchase or lease that will better suite our needs in the future. Starting small and growing was the fiscally correct route to go. The Board of Directors for the ESSC, LLC wanted to prove to the doubting thomas's out there that we (the future club members) are for real. Some come and join in on the planning of Eastern CT's Sober events.
